December 14, 2014 in Weddings

I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of two friends I’ve known for some time. This one was special for me because it was not only for two people that I knew, but because of the emotional journey that these two have gone through and endured together to get to get to this point. Past the many boxes of tissues that everyone went through, came the usual laughs and fun that this couple always brings with them. This was no different than any other celebration of love… but it was and I was happy to be there.

Our recent family trip to Oahu was our best vacation yet. It was a much needed break for the wife and I, and we were also coming off celebrating Emma and LJ’s 3rd and 6th birthdays. We managed to get in some pretty good R&R and quality time in the sun, and of course we got to eat… a lot. Here’s a few of the highlights below from the first 3 days of the trip.

Day 1: Touchdown Oahu | Lunch at Zippy’s & Nico’s Fish Market | Shave Ice at Shimazu Market | Sunset at Hilton Hawaiian Village | Dinner with good friends at Side Street Inn
